Emily Ward

 

My graduate collection focuses on the intense light and shadow found in a dense rainforest, as well as the unique and diverse range of colours, shapes and foliage that it possesses. I have focused my practice on developing my screen-printing and hand painting skills to show my interpretation of this diverse environment. My degree show will demonstrate how lighting and translucency illuminates a tropical environment, alongside a variety of vibrant colours to demonstrate the environment’s diversity.
