Shore Line
The sea has been the inspiration for my final pieces. I love the light at the coast, the big skies and ever changing movement of the clouds and waves, the encrusting of shells, seaweed and limpets. The other inspiration for my final pieces is from seeing the Ballet ‘Swan Lake’. I found the dancers, music and the lightness of their movements and costumes fascinating.
The pieces have been machine knitted, crocheted, plaited, macramé, using different grades and colours of wire and mixed media embellished with recycled beads and resin shells.
